RESTAURANT MANAGER Kebab & Co – Columbus, Ohio Position Type Part-Time Pay $16.00 per hour Schedule • Tuesday – Thursday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM • Friday – Sunday: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM • Monday: Off Additional hours may be required for catering events, staff meetings, training, and operational needs. Position Summary Kebab & Co is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead the team, ensure excellent guest experiences, maintain food quality standards, and support the growth of the restaurant and catering business. Key Responsibilities Operations • Manage daily restaurant operations. • Ensure smooth service and high hospitality standards. • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professionalism throughout the restaurant. • Complete opening and closing procedures. Staff Management • Create and manage employee schedules. • Supervise servers, cashiers, and kitchen staff during shifts. • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees. • Train employees on company standards, customer service, and restaurant procedures. • Coach team members to improve performance and professionalism. • Maintain a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment. • Lead by example through professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic. Customer Service • Ensure guests receive exceptional service. • Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally. • Monitor online reviews and customer feedback. Food Quality & Safety • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards. • Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements. Sales & Catering • Help increase restaurant sales and profitability. • Promote catering services and follow up on catering inquiries. • Build relationships with local businesses and community organizations. Inventory & Purchasing • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies. • Minimize waste and control food costs. Cash Handling & Reporting • Close and reconcile the cash drawer daily. • Maintain accurate sales and cash records. • Report any discrepancies immediately. • Submit daily operational reports to ownership. Qualifications • Restaurant supervisory or management experience preferred. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Excellent customer service skills. • Ability to work evenings and weekends. • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
